So so disappointed not to have made the cut for this year’s Archibald. First of all, looks like there are some really great works that are in there to take a look at. I guess there are lots of disappointed artists that also did not make the cut.

I think for me, the most disappointing part is after having so much public support over the last two years I really would have loved to share this painting with those same people. Especially the ones in regional areas. I think this was one of my best works to date, definitely one of my favorites.

I’m a glass half full kind of person so I will be looking forward and not back. To those artists that didn’t make the cut, I feel ya, and to those that did, well done and enjoy.
